Hi
I downloaded Alchemy Publisher from the link that I got after
attending to the ProZ.com conference.
I installed it but Language Exchange didn't work, so I
uninstalled it and that was definetely a bad choice, because I'm
unable to install it again. I get an error code 2868, that
acording to the message that pops up, it may indicate a problem
with the package (?).

I don't know if I did something wrong or if I need to reinstall

it will require a new activation certificate (I already deleted
the original file) So, please, help me because I make things
worst.

Restore Dec 6, 2009

I'm not a PC or IT expert, but try the "Restore" function. Choose a restore point before the time/date when you installed the software. It will normally take you back to the state of your computer before you installed any software that gets you in a mess. When you choose a restore point, don't go back too far; otherwise you'll uninstall other software previously installed.

I tried to install it, and after a while the system went wild. Fell into a loop, and it took me quite a while to get out. I think I had to reboot. I could not make it stop loading the installer over and over again. I have to add that I'm using Returnil, so I installed the AP (i.e. I tried to install it) on the image of the disk (but it makes no difference), so it did not leave any junk on my system. The OS is Windows 7, with a lot of protection, so something might have interfered with the instal... See more

I see that many people complain about this edition of AP (search the forums), so it does influence my decision.

Aleksandar, I had the same problem! When I installed Language Express, the system opened a lot of installers.

And I can't use System restore, I deactivated that option some time ago, I don't remember why
