Today I received a call on my mobile from an individual who avoided identifying himself. He began the conversation with the statement "I need a translator". when I asked him who he was, he repeated, "I need a translator for my marriage." I was suspicious and just told him "sorry, I cannot help you" and hung up. He said he was on Internet, but my mobile number is not on Internet. I think it was a scam. Has anybody else had a similar call?

Can you check his number on the Internet? Feb 22, 2011

or with the network provider?
Sounds a bit like those creepy telephone calls two decades ago...
