The Euskadi Literary Award for the best literary translation into Euskera was created by Law 30/1992 dated 26 November, verbatim copy of which may be perused on this link.

The Euskadi Literary Award for the best literary translation into Euskera was created by Law 30/1992 dated 26 November, verbatim copy of which may be perused on this link.

This year's edition kicked off on the 21st of June for the deadline 21st of December.

The translation must have been published for the first time between the 1st January and the 31st December 2003, as established by the Depósito Legal (Spanish equivalent of the Library of Congress, administered by the Spanish National Library).

Any other existing translation of the work concerned must have been published at least ten years earlier.

Translators who have already won the award in the course of the last three years are excluded. The prize involves € 10,607.06.
