I love it! Dec 13, 2012

This is so true. I indeed have been working on a project which should have been done like 2 days ago but since I purchased a new computer (thinking my CAT would work better), I have been spending hours trying to set it up the same way it was perfectly working on the other computer...

HELP... lol

Where's the time for footling about on the internet? Dec 13, 2012

And complaining? I like to match every minute of negotiation with clients with a minute of bitching about it to family and the Proz forums!

No!! No way. The red part means:

"Trying to figure out what the @#!% is wrong with my CAT (Cute Adorable Translator-intern who - again - didn't get my Martini right. I particularly asked for TWO olives!)

So wrong! Dec 15, 2012

Why was "Actively procrastinating" left out of the chart?

It's not just me then! Dec 16, 2012

Having said which, give me a huge Excel file which the CAT will actually eat and watch the numbers go kerCHING, kerCHING, kerCHING down the page, like winning the jackpot on a one-armed bandit!

I would add at least ten percent of my day for strolling along the beach, and I think TCB has a very valid point with his "actively procrastinating"!

Relabel the red section Dec 16, 2012

My CAT tool and I get along fairly well and it reduces the overall time needed for the 'blue part' from 10 to 50%. I would relabel the red section instead as "Trying to figure out what the @#!% is wrong with my brain/the French Language/the English Language." There are two many times when the answer to a linguistic puzzle is right in front of me, but I just cannot extract it from my brain.
