What translation project are you working on right now?
A 10.000 word project about mindfulness. It's so much fun!! I love when a text you are translating is about a subject you like. 1 user
(edited) Busy with a detailed technical description of a containerized mill for the feed industry.
Just finished a SLA (12 000 words) for a huge logistic company. I was so happy to see at the end of the document an explanation of all the terminology they used! I think I have translated 20 Privacy Statements in the last six weeks. Now I have different translation projects, from a news bulletin of a polymere company to the manual for seasonal looks of a big merchandise shop.

Last month I worked, among other things, on translations about Smart Lighting and Heat Exchangers (also smart!!). Now I am working on a 25 000 words project about tensioners. Never a dull moment!
(edited) A huge project, 80 000 words. Dutch to Spanish. A manual to program the circuit boards on factory lines. It does help a lot when you have seen the real thing and you know exactly what they are talking about.
(edited) A kiwi peeler. Yes! There is a machine that peels kiwis. Amazing, eh? Still busy translating presentations about different methods to diminish the use of antibiotics in the poultry industry. Revealing!! Besides some minor jobs I am translating a religious book from Dutch to Spanish about the birth of Jesuschrist seen from the devil's perspective. 17.000 words I am busy with the translation of an underwater camera manual. 35 000 words. Luckily there is plenty of time |
