I am a native English speaker who has been working as a professional translator, subtitler, captioner, transcriptionist, writer, and proofreader/editor since 2006, with extensive experience in other areas including the news industry and data entry prior to that time, both as a worker and managing and training other workers.

I specialize in multimedia translation work, both from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish, and I care about the accuracy of my translations, understanding and maintaining the tone of the original work and getting the message across as intended.

I have translation experience in many different fields, from news and business-related communication and marketing to more technical material such as computer programs and IT, video games, legal, and medical. I have extensive experience translating pharmaceutical manufacturing and medical documentation.

I co-founded a small translation, transcription, subtitling, and captioning agency called Subscriptorium with my wife, a native Spanish speaker and English/Spanish translator, and I'm available as a freelancer, as a project manager, or you can contract our agency as a business resource.
