This Playhouse MUST be assembled by an adult
Read these instructions carefully prior to commencing any assembly so as to familiarise yourself with the correct procedure and use the parts list to identify all of the components.
Although every effort is made to select timber without sharp splinters or rough edges and to eliminate protruding nails etc during manufacture the building should be thoroughly checked prior to assembly. Rough edges and splinters should be smoothed using sandpaper or similar abrasive material and protruding nails should be hammered below the surface.
For ease of assembly we recommend that you pilot drill all screw holes and ensure that all screw heads are countersunk.
All parts should be treated with a non-toxic proprietary wood preservative prior to assembly. Particular attention should be given to the posts and to the underside and edges of panels, which may not be accessible after assembly.
It is not normally necessary to cut any wooden component.
It is essential that children are properly supervised at ALL TIMES when using this playhouse – Closing doors and other parts may be unkind to small fingers during play. PLAYHOUSE FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY.
Preparation of the Base
Position the base so as to ensure that access is available from all sides in order to allow regular maintenance and treatment. The playhouse should be located at least 2m from any structures or obstructions and should be positioned so that the ladder does not directly face sunlight.
The posts should stand on concrete slabs or other solid surface. The area around the steps and platform should be a soft surface such as grass or “playbark”.
In order to achieve stability, the base should be firm and level. Care taken at this stage will lead to a better finish
Assembling the Platform
Turn both Floor Panels 1 & 1a upside down and join together using 4 No. 50mm Screws.
With the floor still in the upside down position attach the Floor Support pieces (No. 4) to each side of the floor using 75mm Screws.
Fixing the Posts
With the newly formed platform resting on one side secure the rear post (2a) to the back of the platform. Use 150mm Screws and secure through the top of the platform (Diagram 1)
Fit two floor/post braces (3) using 75mm Screws. The post should form a 90degree angle to the platform and the braces should be at 45 degrees (Diagram 2). The braces should finish flush to the outer edges of the post and the floor support.
To ensure the correct height at the front use a rear post to mark the platform height on the front post. The front post should then be fitted into the cut out section at the front of the platform using 150mm Screws (Diagram3).
Fit the braces as per the rear post.
Turn the entire platform over and repeat the above process. This will require 2 people to lift the platform and prevent injury and damage.
Before final fixing ensure that posts are all fitted to the same height. When satisfied, position the platform on to the base and check the level. Once more, this is a job for 2 people.

Questa capanna deve essere montata solo da persone adulte.
Leggere attentamente le istruzioni prima di procedere al montaggio in modo da familiarizzarvi con la corretta procedura di assemblaggio. Utilizzate la lista dei pezzi in dotazione per identificare tutti I componenti.
Malgrado durante la manifattura sia stato fatto il possibile al fine di selezionare legname privo di schegge appuntite o contorni irregolari nonche’ di eliminare chiodi visibili, il materiale deve essere controllato con particolare attenzione prima del montaggio. I contorni irregolari e le schegge appuntite devono essere addolcite con della carta vetrata o materiale abrasivo simile e ogni chiodo visibile spinto sotto la superficie con un martello.
Per facilitare il montaggio si raccomanda di praticare col trapano dei buchi guida per le viti e assicurarsi che le viti siano autofilettanti.
Prima del montaggio tutti I pezzi devono essere tinteggiati con uno smalto protettivo non tossico per legno di buona qualita’. Attenzione particolare deve essere prestata ai pilastri, e al lato inferiore e ai contorni dei pannelli, dato il loro difficile accesso dopo il montaggio.
Non dovrebbe essere necessario tagliare nessun componente in legno. E’ essenziale che I bambibi siano controllati costantemente quando giocano con questa capanna – le porte in chiusura o altre parti potrebbero causare incidenti indesiderati alle loro piccole dita durante il gioco. CAPANNA SOLO PER USO DOMENSTICO.
Preparazione della base
Posizionare la base in modo da garantire l’accesso da tutti I lati al fine di poter svolgere una regolare manutenzione e trattamento. La capanna deve essere posta ad almeno 2 m da altre strutture o ostruzioni e situata in modo che la scala a pioli non sia in direzione della luce del sole.
I pilastri devono appoggiare su blocchi in cemento o altro tipo di superficie solida. L’area attorno agli scalini e la piattaforma deve essere coperta da una superficie morbida come erba o truciolato.
Al fine di ottenere la massima stabilita’, la base deve essere ben fissata e in piano. A questo punto una maggiore cura garantira’ una migliore finitura.
Montaggio della piattaforma
Girare sottosopra I pannelli 1 & 1a e unirli assieme utilizzando 4 viti da 50mm.
Con il pavimento ancora in posizione capovolta attaccare I pezzi di supporto del pavimento (N. 4) ad ogni lato del pavimento utilizzando viti da 75mm
Fissaggio dei pilastri
Con la piattaforma appena formata posta su un lato montare il pilastro posteriore (2a) sulla parte posteriore della piattaforma . Utilizzare viti da 150mm e avvitare dal lato superiore della piattaforma (Figura 1).
Fissare I due sostegni pavimento/pilastro (3) utilizzando viti da 75mm. Il pilastro deve formare un angolo di 90 gradi con la piattaforma e I sostegni un angolo di 45 gradi con il pilastro ( figura 2).
I sostegni devono combaciare con i contorni esterni del pilastro e del supporto al pavimento.
Per ottenere la giusta altezza nella parte anteriore utilizzare uno dei pilatri posteriori per segnare l’altezza della piattaforma sul pilastro anteriore. Il pilastro anteriore deve essere poi fissato nella sezione pretagliata nella parte anteriore della piattaforma utilizzando viti da 150mm. (figura 3).
Fissare I sostegni come fatto per I pilastri posteriori.
Girare completamente l’intera piattaforma e ripetere il procedimento sopraindicato. Occorrono due persone per sollevare la piattaforma in modo sicuro al fine di evitare infortuni o danni.
Prima del fissaggio finale assicurarsi che I pilastri siano tutti montati alla stessa altezza. Una volta soddisfatti con l’altezza posizionare la piattaforma sulla base e verificare che sia in piano. Ancora una volta per questo passaggio occorrono due persone.
