I was born in Germany to American parents who are classical musicians. Because of my unique situation, I learned both German and English simultaneously as a native. I studied music composition, orchestral conducting, percussion and guitar performance, German, international studies, and engineering at Texas A&M University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. I have taught music for over 14 years and have been employed since 2012 as a High School German and music teacher. In addition, I have a thorough knowledge and background in electronic/computer engineering, automotive technologies, and culinary arts.
In addition to teaching, I have worked since 2012 as a freelance translator and am currently seeking the Certified Translator Credential through the American Translators Association.
