español term

Iniciación remota

español al inglés Técnico/Ingeniería Informática: Sistemas, redes Communications equipment
Does this mean "remote (unit) start-up" or "remote (unit) initialization". Do both terms actually mean more or less the same thing and is one more accurate/common that the other? By the way, it's US English.

"Remota" generally refers to a remote unit throughout this text.

Thanks in advance.

I think the answer is in the English commands in the text - remote activation.
