Gostaria de saber a melhor tradução para AGENTE DE SINISTRO no seguinte contexto:
"PARTE: XXX, operando sob o nome de XXX com sede na XXX inscrita sob o número de licença XXX, representada para este fim pelo abaixo assinado, conforme estipulado em seu Estatuto Social, doravante denominado simplesmente AGENTE DE SINISTRO."
Seria o AGENTE DE SINISTRO o mesmo que "analista de sinistro", ou seja, um "claims handler"?
Não consegui encontrar em nenhum site a definição de AGENTE DE SINISTRO.

Creio que INDEPENDENT ADJUSTER seria mais condizente com o contexto.

AGENTE: Representante da Seguradora, autorizado pela mesma a intermediar operações de seguro diretamente com o segurado interessado. Pode ser pessoa física ou jurídica. (Circular SUSEP 291/05).
REGULADOR: É o técnico indicado pelos Seguradores para proceder à liquidação dos sinistros. (Circular SUSEP 354/07).
Por isso, acredito que agente=agent e regulador=adjuster.
