archaeological sites

Based on your sentence, I believe ocorrências patrimoniais is just a fancy way of saying archaeological sites, i.e. the archaeological survey points previously inventoried by the Portuguese Institute of Archeology, in this case.

Normally I wouldn't translate patrimonial as archaeological, but in this particular case, I don't see a better option (it's one of those tricky words that doesn’t have a 100% exact equivalent in English).

If you look at other uses of ocorrências patrimoniais on the Internet, this assumption holds true. Someone specialized in archaeology, however, may come up with a better (more industry-precise) term.

Good luck!
