English term
bevelled end of paper web
English to Russian
Tech/Engineering
Paper / Paper Manufacturing
soft tissue production
This term is from toilet /kitchen roll production from base paper. Before threading the paper web through размоточный станок, далее станок тиснения и намоточный станок, the forward end of the paper is "bevelled". I'm not sure if this is a correct term in Eglish, when speaking about paper (web), but I hope you get the idea. I found terms скошенный, со скошенной кромкой, but don't know if they are suitable here.
