- operated by means of electrical key only (movement by motor drive)
- opening not possible unless machine at rest
- in-half open position (protective grating key actuated no more than once for access to plate cylinder only), possible movements are jogging, creep spped backwar, and machine movements within plate changing program
- in open position (protective grating key actuated twice or access to also linking rollers): the only possible machine movement is jogging.
