Stop (if control panel is provided)

1 Ideally stop the feed box when it is at the end of the stroke so that the weight of the logs is not resting on the cutter blocks. It is not necessary to empty the box before stopping. But, if you stop the machine with logs still in the log box, then the logs must not be disturbed until the shaver rotors have been re-started. Failure to adhere to this will result in the motors jamming on start-up and the log box will have to be cleaned out before they can be re-started.
2 Press the two red Stop buttons for the two shaving head motors
3 Turn off the out-feed conveyors when they become empty, after which the control panel isolator should be turned off.
