residual book value
This is what I would call it.
I'm not a specialist, so I'll be looking to see if anyone has a better sugggestion.
However, the car has has some book value all the time, which is entered, depreciated etc. until it reaches a residual value when the car is sold or scrapped.
This too is entered as a book value.
It gives some Google hits that you may be able to use, e.g.

"Declining Balance Depreciation – This is the least aggressive method. In each year, the book value of the asset is divided by the total useful life, so while the numerator gets smaller each year, the denominator stays the same. If the declining balance method is used for the entire useful life of the asset, there’s a "residual" book value for the equipment remaining at the end."

net book value
my suggestion based on this definition (from Investorwords.com):
net book value
Definition: The net value of an asset. Equal to its original cost (its book value) minus depreciation and amortization. also called net book value and depreciated cost.
og bekræftet af A.L. Svenssons økonomiske ordbog:
bogført restværdi (UK): net asset/book value; written-down value; (US) terminal value.
(as well as 1,2 mio. hits on google).
