And for the second time, you confuse Ghits with MT, which it isn't. It's just a statistical showing of how often a term appears on the Internet, or doesn't. Ghits is NOT MT. Google Translate is !!!

You do realise that if "translating by statistics" happened to be a valid method then we should all pack ours bags and let Machine Translation take over completely?

But isn't that exactly what YOU do every time you suggest a translation with 0 or a very low number of Ghits for what is a common term in the source language,often rejecting another suggestion that is backed by hundreds of thousands of Ghits and clearly a reasonable suggestion. I've seen you do this time and time again.

If you look at the rules of any UK /US university for "being admitted in the next academic year" you'll find the term effectively used in academia.

admise avec dettes -> (provisional/-ly) admission/admitted with credits to make up

or
admitted with provisional/comditional credits

AFAIK it's used only to progress from one academic year to the next, NOT when admitting new students in Year one.
