Spanish term

cézannianos

Spanish to English Art/Literary Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting
This is to do with Art.

Si inicialmente su obra se sitúa entre la de los maestros realistas cézannianos de la generación postnovecentista, inmersa en aquel retorno al orden, con figuras femeninas -en las que refuerza las formas opulentas y los valores constructivos- elaborados en la tradición del realismo clásico y académico, ya a finales de su trayectoria -seducido por las tendencias abstractas- se encamina hacia una nueva orientación, dejando de lado la figuración para investigar nuevos vocabularios.

Cezannian / Cezanne like

Cezannianos is a bit of a made up word in Spanish meaning "related to Cezanne", so I suggest you do the same in English and use Cézannian..

Thanks, Joaquim
neutral Jane Lamb-Ruiz (X) : all words related to painters can be adjectivized in English but it's rather awkward sometimes

I agree Jane, but the same thing happens in Spanish, hence my answer. They could have said "del estilo de Cezanne", or similar... "Cezannianos" is no less akward than Cezannian, I think.
agree George Rabel : why not? Picassian, Warholian, Braquian,Van Goghian,,,

Indeed. Thanks, George! :- )
