'aanvoerstrang' could well be a typo, as Dave and Venter suggest, but on the other hand the author could literally be referring to 'strang' as the rather unusual Dutch equivalent for 'streng' (see Grote Van Dale), meaning 'strand', e.g. cable strand. If that is so, then 'aanvoerstrang' could be the core within the cable providing the electrical power for driving a magnetic valve solenoid.
