Hi, I was assigned proofreading/ editing a medical record Spanish translation. It is around 40 pages. I assume that the time I take to complete the task will depend on many factors (mistakes, difficulty, and so on) still I would like to know on average how long does it take to proofread/ edit a medical record per page. A rough idea will help. Thanks in advance. Laura

Just work at it for one hour and see how much you get done.

Isn't it a little late?

It sounds as though you've already accepted the job.
It can vary enormously. As a guide for clients, I tell them that I can proofread anything between 750 and 3000 words per hour, and that doesn't include texts which should really be re-translated.
There are simply too many variables to be more accurate than that.
