Hewlett-Packard Company, the market leader in tape backup solutions, today announced the HP SureStore DLT70e drive, which addresses the increasing storage requirements of high-end servers within large centralized networks. The HP SureStore DLT70e drive provides network administrators with the highest-possible capacity and performance at this price point ($8,000) of any single-drive tape backup device on the market today.
"Device performance for backup within the high-end network sector is a critical issue," said Robert Hill, marketing manager, HP Computer Peripherals Bristol. "Less and less time is available for backups; typical enterprises demand long periods of uptime; and the servers themselves, which are ever-increasing in size, take longer to back up. The high-performance capabilities of the HP SureStore DLT70e drive addresses this issue by allowing vast amounts of mission-critical data to be backed up using a minimum amount of time and effort."
The HP SureStore DLT70e drive is targeted for network administrators of high-end centralized LANs, who require backup that is executed securely and effectively in the smallest-possible timeframe. The new drive enables a capacity of 70GB of data (compressed) to be stored on a single tape and provides a transfer rate of 10MB/s (compressed). It also incorporates an 8MB cache buffer to maximize drive performance.
"The trend toward server consolidation and centralization of data within high-end centralized LANs means that administrators must have total confidence in their backup solutions," said Tom Beese, HP SureStore DLT70e drive product manager, HP Computer Peripherals Bristol. "With greater numbers of end users working on fewer centralized servers, preserving data is becoming increasingly dependent on the reliability of storage technology. The HP SureStore DLT70e drive gives network administrators the peace of mind that routine backup will be implemented successfully."
In addition to the high performance and reliability of the drive, the HP SureStore DLT70e drive ensures hassle-free connectivity through the incorporation of the HP TapeAssure utility, HP's new software utility that verifies procedures during drive installation. The HP TapeAssure utility ensures that a new drive will function correctly by monitoring the installation and configuration process and offering advice when problems arise.

Source text - English It seems everything was simpler in 1956 and bicycles were no exception. A common day of repairs consisted of a few flat tires, a broken spoke and possibly a coaster brake hub overhaul. As the 1960s arrived, so did caliper brakes, shifting systems, and lightweight components. One problem surfaced along with these complicated new parts. No tools! My father, Howard, and his business partner, Art Engstrom, were both "hands on" guys, usually figuring problems out for themselves. Both were up to the challenge as they crafted their own problem solvers. Most of these early tools were built from scratch with whatever materials and leftovers they could find.
One of the first time-savers they invented was a stand that held the bike off the ground allowing easy, back saving access to any part of the bike. This original stand was put together using legs from a dining room table, an empty shell casing and a truck axle from a 37 Ford. As other shops, and eventually Schwinn Bicycle Company, saw the stand in action, requests were made for a production model. Park Tool Company was born!
The line grew quickly to include a wheel truing stand, more repair stands including a double arm shop version, wrenches gauges, fixtures and consumer tools soon joined the company's offerings. The retail side of the business also grew earning Top Ten Schwinn dealer status fifteen years in a row including number one overall in 1977. In the early 1980s all three retail shops were sold to concentrate on the tool business.

My name is Egor Vakhnitsky and I'm an English-Russian and German-Russian translator and reviewer. A few words about my career:
I started working as a freelance translator in March 2006 when I was a second year student. Initially I cooperated with Moscow-based translation companies and publishing houses, namely Janus, Neotech, and NT Press. Since February 2008, I’ve been collaborating with international translation companies including TransPerfect, euroscript (now Amplexor), and Lionbridge LQS. I’ve been working full-time starting from September 2009, after my graduation from the university.
I usually do regular translation, proofreading, and quality assurance jobs using traditional CAT tools. However, I did quite a number of less typical jobs like copy adaptation or machine translation editing. Besides, my portfolio includes a good hundred of reviewed test translations and a dozen of created or updated glossaries and style guides.
I mostly focus on IT, technical, and marketing translations ranging from enterprise Linux, communicaton systems, and automation to industrial connectors, cryptocurrencies, and audio equipment but I have some experience in fairly different areas such as hospitality, athletic clothing, and online poker to name a few. The specialty field list keeps expanding all the time.
As for quality, I apply a rather critical approach to my translations making sure there aren't any linguistic mistakes, mistranslations, stylistic issues or other inconsistencies. I follow the same industry-standard quality assurance procedures while reviewing my own translations or doing proofreading jobs. Whenever necessary, I use specialized software tools for automated quality control and terminology management.
My personal interests include desktop computers, cycling, and table tennis. Partnering with companies of these profiles directly would be a dream coming true for me.
