About Ming
Ming has a very high standard for translating and Chinese copywriting throughout his career. He is capable of translating from English to Chinese or vice versa.
In the early stage of his advertising career, he trans-created large amounts of advertising materials for big multinational brands like Absolut Vodka, adidas, Martell, Standard Chartered, etc.
From 2017-2021, he was the Creative Lead in the in-house creative department of a British technology company, leading the adaptation and transcreation of English materials.
After moving to Canada in 2021, Ming joined a fan-sub team in China, translated hundreds of episodes of TV shows and documentaries with better quality among peers, resulting in himself being one of the go-to person when the team leader needs quality commercial translation work.
Ming is currently residing in Canada. His time is quite flexible at the moment thanks to working from home.
