Born into a family of scholars, I developed a great love for the English language from an early age probably due to my parent's academic positions as Chairman of the Modern Languages Department and Chief Librarian of the Seventh Day Adventist University in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Raised in the U.S. in the late 80's under the influence of multicultural experiences in Texas, I had the unique opportunity to learn English still at an age where a second language feels like the first.

Started working as a private English teacher in the early 90's and initiated interpreting in 1996.
