what is the implied meaning here please:
English

Anger is one letter short of danger.
I'll be grateful if you could answer an informal question as well. I am looking for a website where I can ask general questions rather than questions relating to language and linguistic expressions. For example, I want to ask how the seasons are formed, why do they keep stones on railway tracks, when did life began on earth and so on. I think that you would have got my point and will be kind enough to suggest me the relevant URL, if such website exists.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Obviously the literal meaning is \"danger\" has one more letter than \"anger.\" However, figuratively, my interpretation is \"anger\" is one step away from \"danger\" in the several senses. Perhaps a person with high blood pressure becomes angry and heart palpitations start. Or, pershaps an employee becomes angry and snaps at his or her boss in an inappropriate way.

: Both literally and figuratively; when one is angry, one doesn't think straight and might do something he/she will regret

What it means..
If you lose your cool, it could be a dangerous situation.
For example, let's say you get cut off on the road and you get angry at the person for cutting you off. You have reached a fork in the road as to what to do.
You could get so angry that you have a heart attack and lose control of your vehicle thus killing innocent by standers
you could get so angry that you chase down the person recklessly endangering the life of innocent bystanders and once you catch the driver that cut you off risk your life beating the tar out of him/her or risk getting hurt yourself.
OR
You could just blow off a little steam and continue driving as though nothing happened.
It means that if you get angry enough.. it could be dangerous for you the person you are angry at and any innocent bystanders whom may get caught in the crossfire
Regarding the other question, I am sorry I couldn't be of more help

"D"
In addition to what others have explained, "anger" is one letter (a "D") short of "danger". That is, if you add a "d" to "anger", you get "danger". The saying has a double meaning; the meanings of the words, and also the letters they are composed of.
