: It certainly doesn't mean that in the second quote and without further context the first quote could have a number of meanings, including the one you suggest.

Yes, Barbara and Katsy! You may be right, I may be wrong. We still need further context. Reading the discussion again, semantic range widens to include: "We'll need a new job, another patient died while I was in doctor's station". Bien cordialement
