IMO it's just a table or plateau on which the paint can is places, so that it can be lifted easier and safer. Probably a specific construction for this purpose; therefore it's places between quotes.

I think for clarity this works better than table.

It is part of an automatic dispenser, for paint mixing and tinting equipment. There is no point in calling it something else.
See the above website, where there is a drawing showing the eguipment, and the "cantable". It is also listed in the technical data, as cantable.
