). A golf club is swung with an average angular acceleration of 1.5 rad/s2. ( these units are radians per second squared.) What is the angular velocity of the club when it strikes the ball at the end of a 0.8 second swing? (Provide an answer in both radian and degree-based units.) Hint: You deduce that the angular velocity of the club at the beginning of the swing was zero. You are trying to solve for wf where w= angular velocity and the f is the subscript f meaning "final". In other words, what is the final angular velocity?

a = acceleration and t = time
f = final and i = initial
Known: a = 1.5 rad/s2 (radian per squared) t 0.8 s

branch of mathematics concerned with the measurement of triangles

No other solution, I'm afraid...
Peer comment(s):

agree awilliams : measurement of the relationship between the sides and the angles of triangles.

How ethical is it to solve a home work problem here? I would not want my son to have his school home work problems solved like this.

I could answer this, but . .

Also, how appropriate is it to ask questions that have little or no relevance to translation or meaning of words? (This is not a rhetorical question.)
Peer comment(s):

agree Vicky Papaprodromou : How right you are, though!

Thanks.
agree Sarah Downing : I'd suggest trying one of the many sites for homework help, because this one is only for help with languages!

Good suggestion. Thank you.
agree humbird : I strongly agree with you, Java. We should ignore this kind of question by not promoting randam act of laziness (look up dictionary is important process of learning). However please don't take me wrong. David did what he thought is right.

Thanks.
agree Will Matter : nothing wrong with Davids answer, per se, asker is at fault. Wrong place for this type of question unless one of our talented members happens to be good at math and decides to "help" the lad.

I did not mean to imply *any* impropriety on David's part. I was tempted to offer an answer myself, when these questions occurred to me.
