Could anybody help me out with the meaning of "to script" as it appears in the sentence below? Thanks a bunch in advance.
while they undertake a huge effort testing their products, they can’t match 50,000 employees doing whatever they do with the products —work you can’t possibly script.

: We're talking QA testing here. That is performed to a large extent by running scripts that go through as many of the routines and options as possible. However, no script can come close to "real-life testing" by 50k employees. Bugs are therefore possible.

to document
In this context -- and without any more of it -- I would think they mean that they can't possibly document everything that 50 000 employees are doing with the products in the scope of the work.

: Sorry, Julie, but I really think they are talking here about designing tests (that would be as comprehensive as 50k people's work...)

to predict and control
You can't get the same results with a controlled and prescribed testing effort that you can by just letting masses of people use the product on a day to day basis.

to happen as you want
The origins are from the Drama (Play) days. The entire show follows exactly what has been written (scripted).
