English term
transcription machinery
English to Turkish
Science
Genetics
A repressed gene is essentially 'off' and might be encased within chromatin such that the transcription machinery or any other factor cannot productively access the underlying promoter DNA.
In eukaryotes, the basic transcription machinery is a ribosome-sized entity with two basic components, TFIID and the Pol II holoenzyme.
The eukaryotic transcription machinery is complex. It is a compact structure of different proteins that are bound at different positions on a DNA strand.
"machinery" için uygun bir sözcük aklıma gelmiyor. Yardımlarınızı bekliyorum. Teşekkürler.

transcription
1) Transfer of genetic code information from one kind of nucleic acid to another, especially with reference to the process by which a base sequence of messenger RNA is synthesized (by an RNA polymerase) on a template of complementary DNA.

2) <molecular biology> Synthesis of RNA by RNA polymerases using a DNA template.

3) Making an RNA copy from a sequence of DNA (a gene).
http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=5835
4) The process of constructing a messenger RNA molecule, using a DNA molecule as a template, with the resulting transfer of genetic information to the messenger RNA. As related to HIV The process by which the provirus produces new viruses. RNA copies, called messenger RNA, must be made that can be read by the host cell's protein-making machinery. Cellular enzymes, including RNA polymerase II, facilitate transcription. The viral genes may partly control this process. For example, tat encodes a protein that accelerates the transcription process by binding to a section of the newly made viral RNA. See Integration; Ribonucleic Acid.

4) Transcription is the first step in protein synthesis and replication in which the genetic information encoded in DNA is copied to messenger RNA, which is used as a template for the production of new proteins.
