The drill is done slightly faster than the previous one but by no means full out. This is still in the realms of skill rehearsal. Once this drill is done very fast, it becomes a speed drill and is usually termed Fast High Knees.

Fast High Knees: As with normal high knee drills, the arms and knees drive vigorously, but emphasize fast leg turnover. The range of motion will be 1/3–1/2 of normal. Do 2-3 sets of 10-15 yards. Am facut sport de performanta (atletism si chiar 100 m garduri) in tinerete si alergarea cu genunchii sus era unul din exercitiile zilnice la incalzire.
