I pointed this out to the client... About the no hits on Google, but was told that this is what they have used in the past... I will edit the glossary to add your suggestion as well Hezy, so others can make their own choice.

Strange The client isn't always right and this is a good example, but the client is always the client and as such has the right to be wrong :-)

Thanks for the points but I never heard of pekudat shinuy mismach and neither did Google. Anyway, the client is always right :-D

I fully intend to... I think your effort is definitely worth some points! so I'm waiting to find out if it's "legal" to give points even if the answer is incorrect, and then change to the correct answer in the glossary posting. Either way, I will eventually post the correct answer.

Re the context: It's a document detailing services offered for QA processes. It seems what Hezy said regarding מפרט and אפיון is right. Hezy, do you mind posting your answer/comment in the correct question?

יכול להיות, אבל לא סביר המפרט וגם האיפיון נעשים בדרך כלל ע"י הלקוח ולא ע,י המבצע של הפיתוח. אבל שוב - בהחלט ייתכן שהמבצע הכין אויון מפורט ואחר כך הקפיא אותו. צריך את כל ההקשר

הסתייגות אחת לגבי הקפאת האפיון - זה מתבצע לפני תחילת הפיתוח כדי שידעו מה בכלל צריך לפתח. לקראת סים הפיתוח באמת מקפיאים את התצורה אבל לדעתי לא זו הכוונה ב- Specification freeze

agree Jonathan Addess : Given what Hezy said, which is corerct, it is an order to change the documentation, not a documentation of the change order so definitely not הוראת תיקון מתועדת

Mamash no :-)) this refers to development, not repair. I am not sure if it refers ONLY to documentation OR to the schematics, parts list etc. as well
