Es geht um die Anleitung eines Anbieters eines Tools für Web Analytics.
Unter der Überschrift "Examine your ***bounce rates***" heißt es:
"Use the ***bounce rate*** to measure the performance of the pages. A navigation page should have a ***bounce rate*** than the site average, usually lower than 40%. An end page linking to another website should have a high ***bounce rate***, i.e. above 60%. "
Was ist damit konkret gemeint? Rücklaufquote?
PS: M. E. fehlt in dem Satzteil "A navigation page ..." ein Wort, vermutlich "lower".

Laut IBM Dictionary ist das die Absprungrate oder Bounce-Rate, also die Rate mit der von einer Seite "abgesprungen" wird. Die soll wohl nicht unter 40 Prozent liegen. Ich denke auch, dass da das Wort "lower" fehlt.

Ich halte es für notwendig, noch eine andere Quelle als IBM zu nennen, da das Material von IBM eben auch nicht öffentlich zugängig ist, zumindest die Wörterbücher nicht.
