English term

Buy to enter

English to German Marketing IT (Information Technology) security system
It's a power point presentation on market positioning of a security system especially for mobile communication. Under the headline of product quality and innovation it says:
- Improved market definition and validation
- Improved product quality
- Build to expand and differentiate
- *Buy and enter*

Anybody an idea how this has to be translated? Is there an existing marketing expression? My first idea was: Erst kaufen, dann nutzen......
thanks for your ideas

Discussion

jccantrell May 25, 2006:
Hmmm, still sounds like company acquisition speak to me. Any backup charts that explain this more? Or is it just left up to the presenter? Sigh, so much to translate, so little context ... :)
Sabine Odinga (asker) May 25, 2006:
the previous point refers to the security system itself. Most certainly it does not refer to the acquisition of companies.
jccantrell May 25, 2006:
Based on the previous point, it sounds like they are looking at strategies to expand the company. The "buy and enter" could be explained as "Acquire a company in the area of interest and get into that area via this new company."

Prima!
