Each Fund, however, is liable to United Kingdom corporation tax on most sources of
income (other than, inter alia, dividends treated as being exempt under Chapter 9A
of the Corporation Tax Act 2009 ("CTA 2009") and the franked portion of dividend
distributions from United Kingdom authorised unit trusts and other United Kingdom
open-ended investment companies), net of allowable management expenses (and, in
relevant cases, the gross amount of any interest distributions made by the Fund)
The rate of corporation tax is equal to the basic rate of income tax, currently 20%.
Dividends treated as being exempt under Chapter 9A CTA 2009 and the franked portion
of dividend distributions from United Kingdom authorised unit trusts and other
United Kingdom openended investment companies will be franked investment income of
the Fund.

Example sentence:
Ausschüttung je Anteil 1,85 EUR 1,85 EUR Steuerfrei insgesamt je Anteil im Privatvermögen10) 1,21 EUR 1,06 EUR Steuerfreier Ausschüttungsanteil in % im Privatvermögen 72,1 % 61,4 %

nicht körperschaftsteuerpflichtiger (Dividenden-)Anteil ?
A UK resident corporate unitholder receiving a dividend
distribution is treated as receiving a payment which may
consist of two parts, a “franked” portion and an “unfranked”
portion. In broad terms, the portion treated as franked will be
such proportion as is equal to the proportion of the total income
of the Fund (brought into account when determining the
distribution for the period in question) which consists of exempt
dividend income. The “franked” portion of the payment is
treated as dividend income, on which the UK resident corporate
unitholder is not chargeable to corporation tax.
