The tool is a CO2 calculator for corporations that shows the amount of CO2 produced on business travel.
Here the examples:
The report produced shows the weight of CO2 produced for the journey for all travel types (Air, Rail, and Car), the miles or kilometres travelled and examples of the cost to ***offset*** the amount of CO2 produced at the bottom of the screen.
The calculations made in this tool are based upon information sourced from DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs - UK) in regards to CO2 emissions produced from Aircraft, Rail and Car. The cost to offset CO2 emissions is shown as an example of typical ***offsetting*** costs. The particular figures used in this model are from the C-Change Trust which is a charitable organisation who ensures that a minimum of 75% of donations are put towards ***offsetting*** projects.
Does anyone have a suggestion how to translate both the verb and the nouns? TIA

Bei Deinem ersten Beispiel ( to ***offset*** the amount of CO2 produced at the bottom of the screen) würde ich eher "anrechnen" nehmen.
