Dutch term

Afname/risico-overgang

Dutch to English Tech/Engineering Transport / Transportation / Shipping treinen
Dit is de inhoudsopgave van de specificaties van een trein. De hele document heb ik niet, moet alleen maar de index vertalen. Wat begrijpen jullie van artikels 7 en 8? Zelf ben ik een beetje puzzled.
Alvast bedankt,
Maria

Reception and transfer of risk

Or acceptance and risk transfer.
The point where the buyer accepts the product and where risk transfers from the seller to the buyer. The point of transfer of ownership in most cases.

\"Acceptance\" rather than \"reception\" in this context.
Peer comment(s):

agree jarry (X) : Possibly 'delivery' instead of 'acceptance'? No, because I think delivery IS acceptance.

maybe, but wouldn't it rather be acceptance of delivery? (afname instead of levering)
agree Ken Cox : 'formal acceptance and transfer of risk' --BTW, these sound like literal translations of the equivalent German terms (which would explain why they are somewhat unusual Dutch)

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you very much! Btw, I also think that the original is German, I do not now whether that is definitive but I did find some "bekomt" for "receives"..."
