Dutch term
aan de onderlaag vastgehecht met de bijgevoegde huls

Medical (general)
This phrase has me stumped. The context is pacemaker implantation. After the leads have been positioned satisfactorily and their function tested they are "aan de onderlaag vastgehecht met de bijgevoegde huls". Apologies for the fact that this is a query about a whole phrase and not a single word.
An explanation of this phrase would be much appreciated.

Suture Sleeve
Always use a suture sleeve when implanting a lead. Use of the suture sleeve, which is provided with the lead, will lessen the possibility of lead dislodgment and protect the lead body from damage by a securing ligature.

they are stitched into the lower layer of the heart chamber wall
Somehow descriptions skip the part where the leads are connected to the inside of the heart chambers, which consists of layes of musscles. I found only one reference:
"When the doctor is happy that the leads are in the best position, they are stitched in ..."
I suppose these stitches should not be too superficial, but into deeper or lower levels of the chamber wall.
With regard to the case or casing through which the leads are inserted into the heart via the connecting blood vessels, this is used to direct and stabilize the leads, bring them into the right position.
How the leads are stitched into the heart chamber wall, I have no idea.
