I cannot find a suitable translation for the word dragerbaan in this context. I believe it may be the paper backing (often adhesive) that comes with a mailed card, but am not sure. TIA for any assistance

This entire sentence seems a bit dodgy. But a dragerbaan literally is a carrier track, more commonly known as a guide track or a guide rail.
