Dutch term

elektrongelden

Dutch to English Other Government / Politics Education
"De aanzienlijke meerkost wordt gedragen door de dienst Onderzoekscoördinatie (met de overschotten van Elektrongelden). De Biomedische Bibliotheek heeft van al deze tijdschrifttitels ook de papieren versie in huis. Nature is nu on line toegankelijk vanaf 1997."

Any ideas.
Could this be money for digitalisation??

Discussion

Jack den Haan Mar 27, 2007:
I agree with Ken. 'Elektron' is probably a proper name.
Ken Cox Mar 27, 2007:
since Ysaf did the legwork, only a comment (and I'm too busy for a proper answer): funds from/for the 'Elektron' foundation/initiative (for providing access to scientific publications in electronic form).
Mercuri@ Mar 27, 2007:
I think digitalisation is too general for what you want to cover:

On the basis of your contextual information and the information found on: http://www.libis.be/vowb/elektron.html

this is one possibility.
