motivating education (instruction / training / learning)
I think motivating is the best term to use in this case.

: Agree with writeaway. Your references aren't relevant, and I don't think a child would use vocabulary like this.

: It might just as well refer to the 'concept' or have been used in the sense of the 'concept'. Only, so far I cannot explain how or why.

cool school
If it is really a child (as has now been revealed) then these are the words young people would use. Certainly not "engaging" or "motivating".

: I think this is the right idea, but it's too far away from what the Dutch says.

The reader is not speaking Dutch. It is meant for an English language audience.

[see my suggestion]
The context (see the discussion box" is "Boeiend onderwijs bestaat nog steeds". I suggest "Education can still be exciting."
This is a child speaking, so I don't think they'd use words like "engaging" or "captivating", and there is no evidence that they are talking about a specific approach to education. They're just making a simple statement.

: I agree, unless the interviewed child is somehow referring to the educational approach known as "boeiend onderwijs" (see reference below).

Of course they use "onderwijs" - it's part of the term we're being asked to translate. Are you getting the language direction mixed up?

Boeiend onderwijs

I posted this before the additional info was provided by the Asker. I guess it depends on how 'indoctrinated' the child is to this type of education. Or how aware.....

Discussion
I mean, it sounds like the child is referring to a specific concept.
My notion of 'a lecture/explanation is going to follow'.
So this child/adolescent actually says "there still will be 'boeiend onderwijs'" in 2028.
You also say that 'boeiend onderwijs' is the type of education this child is receiving.
This means, the child says, my type of education, 'boeiend onderwijs', will still exist in 2028.
I do think a child of 12/13 would be aware of the type of education they are receiving, that they would know the term and that they could produce a sentence like this in this specific context.
So if you ask me, and if I understood you correctly, 'boeiend onderwijs' refers here to the concept of 'boeiend onderwijs'.
Boeiend onderwijs bestaat nog steeds.
Yes or No ?
Is this an option in a number of possible answers?
Can they read them from a list?
It sounds like the introduction of a lecture.
You expect an explanation is going to follow.
Anyway, it is a statement.
Where is the emotion?
