Diploma in Industrial and Domestic Studies
If you spend only two succesful years in Higher Education in England or Wales, you tend to either gain a Diploma from an 'old' University or a Higher National Diploma from a 'new' University. Since 'middelbaar bereopsondersijs' is a short form of Higher Education which requires a leaving certificate, I have settled for a Diploma. Please see the link for some examples of the variety of diplomas awarded and their abbreviations.

: middelbaar beroepsonderwijs, has nothing to do with higher education. This form of education is intended to deliver skilled workers.

That's as may be , I was just trying to find an English equivalent for the diploma, not the actual course, which overlaps both tertiary and higher (technical) education
