Dutch term
collectief vakantie (opnemen)
Dutch to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
"***COLLECTIEVE VAKANTIE / VACANCES COLLECTIVES / FIXED HOLIDAY
Annual holiday taken at the same time by all the employees of a particular employer or in a particular industry. The dates of annual holidays are fixed by agreement within the Joint Committee for the industry concerned; failing this, by the works council; and failing this, by negotiation between the employer and employees. See annual holiday ." (http://www.eurofound.europa.eu/emire/BELGIUM/FIXEDHOLIDAY-BE...
"Collectief vastleggen vakantie-uren:
collectieve snipperdagen."
I am familiar with the translations:
"annual holiday",
"company holiday",
"annual closure period",
"fixed holiday" ...
However, I think that perhaps the term, "company-wide holiday", or "companywide holiday shutdown", covers the Dutch terms best.
Does anyone have any suggestions here?
I am specifically looking for a way of using the term as an adverb, as in, "Of uw werkgever collectief vakantie-uren kan vaststellen hangt dus af van de arbeidsovereenkomst en eventueel de CAO." – but without resorting to using "collectively" – which I have seen used in a number of Dutch/Belgian texts.

annual holiday should coincide with the annual shutdown

It is not collective since the workers will not be going on holiday as a group (all going on a coach holiday to Spain or something similar).
This used to be common practice in certain industries. An interesting example is Oldham Wakes, which you can google.

......will be collectively implemented
Collectively is volgens mij prima

synchronously
Would this be better for you I wonder?
to be taken synchronously.
to be taken synchronously.
Example sentence:
Summer holidays to be taken synchronously.

simultaneous/concurrent holiday (period)
'Depending on .... your employer may be able to impose/determine/decide on a simultaneous/concurrent holiday (period) (for all employees/the entire company).'
'Depending on .... your employer may be able to impose/determine/decide on a simultaneous/concurrent holiday (period) (for all employees/the entire company).'

collective vacation
It's not too common in English but in the few texts that I have come across, it is simply called "collective vacation". See reference for one of the collective agreements from Canada, as well as a similar discussion on proz.com

compulsory holiday
Compulsory holiday might be an option if you want to get away from 'collective'. If the holiday is compulsory, the collective aspect is implied without you actually having to use that word.
This site gives an example: http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2005/jun/18/workandcareers.t... :
"You have a right to paid leave, but the employer can reject a demand to take holiday at a particular time. And if necessary it can impose a compulsory holiday period - such as closing during the summer or at Christmas."

Discussion
workforce-wide ?
collectief vakantie op te laten nemen - have all the employees ...
Collectief vastleggen vakantie-uren - for all the employees
collectieve vakantie - for all the employees ..
Of uw werkgever collectief vakantie-uren kan vaststellen - for all the employees
perhaps you should add 'together' 'at the same time' and the like
