You're right, the glass vial itself certainly isn't the thing that gets crimped. But vial manafacturers do use terms like that.
Your "crimp-cap vial" solution seems very good.

Glass vial
It can just be left on its own - I know for a fact that this http://www.medsafe.govt.nz/Profs/datasheet/c/CarboplatinEbew... comes in a 'zapertlovaná' vial, but in the UK and NZ version of the SPC at least it is omitted, and this is the same for other medicines as well. Refer to the 'presentation' section.
Could also be 'sealed', or 'crimped'.

Which is quite right for UK usage - I think it is taken as read that it is crimped or sealed (what else would it be, and does it really matter as long as the substance remains in the vial ? :) )

| Thanks. Just plain "capping" for pertlování? As in capping drinks bottles, this makes sense... I have to be a bit careful with the words "cap" and "capping" here, because there may be a plastic cap (maybe flip-off) on top, with the metal seal under it. As I understand it, the word zapertlovaná refers to the metal seal. |
