عربي إلى أنجليزي أخرى وسائل الإعلام \ الوسائط المتعددة
المتشبع بما لم يعط معناه إظهار ما ليس في الشخص، و هو أصلا حديث [قالَ رسولُ اللّه صلى الله عليه وسلم : "المتَشبِّعُ بما لمْ يُعطَ كلابسِ ثوبي زورٍ". متفق عليه.]

Do you simply translate it a 'pretender'?

the wole translation of the Hadeeth is that

The one who pretends that he has been given what he has not been given, is just like the (false) one who wears two garments of falsehood.
