Dear all,
I'd like to have formatting tags included in my termbase (currently, this doesn't seem to be the case). More specifically, I'd like to not have to manually make the "2" in "CO₂" subscript. Is there any way how to achieve this?
Many thanks in advance, kind regards, Erik

The tags can be saved by changing the settings when creating a new TM:
Using the QA Checker you can have "CO₂" automatically replaced:

TOPIC STARTER
Termbase, not translation memory

Thanks, Silke, but I'm referring to termbases, not translation memories.
The QA workaround is helpful, though, if only for this special case where there is a matching Unicode character.
Kind regards, Erik

TM and TB
Aug 18, 2017
Sorry, should have had a second look… Of course: TB. Was confused by Heidi’s question immediately before and the solution of the „CO2“ issue via TM. A single letter can make quite a difference.
AFAIK, you can only import CSV, MultiTerm, and TBX files. When trying to add a single term via MultiTerm, formatting can not be changed (note even e.g. bold, italics) - so it seems tags can not be saved in termbases.
